WordPress Support Packages

Basic Monthly Support Package – £25.00/month

• backing up of website once a month
• updating WordPress version
• updating WordPress themes
• updating WordPress basic plug-ins only (ones like Yoast, Askimet, – these are plug-ins that do not change the way WordPress works – so things like Yoast, Askimet – this doesn’t cover plug-ins that change how WordPress works like Divi, Generate Press, WooCommerce
• 3 minor changes to text on existing pages a month
• simple site testing to ensure functionality after updates are done
• updates done once a month
• backup will be taken before the updates are done and kept until the next month of updates are done – it is only for the purpose of restoring the site as a whole if an update goes wrong

Premium Monthly Support Package – £40.00/month

• backing up of website once a month
• updating WordPress version
• updating WordPress themes
• updating WordPress plugins – this would cover all basic plug-ins as well as plug-ins that change how WordPress works like Divi, Generate Press, WooCommerce
• 10 minor changes to text on existing pages a month
• more complex tests to be done on site after updates completed – there would be a limit of 3 complex tests and these would be agreed with the client (for example, creating a new post, displaying it, and then deleting it; testing out that the shopping cart still works; or that a complex shipping method works)
• updates done once a month
• backup will be taken before the updates are done and kept until the next month of updates are done – it is only for the purpose of restoring the site as a whole if an update goes wrong

Premium Monthly Package Add-on: If a client would like to use the Ihelm Enterprises license key for Divi and/or Generate Press there will be an additional charge of £10.00/month

Bi-Monthly Support Package – £75.00 every 2 months

• backing up of website every 2 months
• updating WordPress version
• updating WordPress themes
• updating WordPress plugins – this would cover all basic plug-ins as well as plug-ins that change how WordPress works like Divi, Generate Press, WooCommerce
• includes the use of Ihelm Enterprises. Divi and/or Generate Press license key
• 10 minor changes to text on existing pages every 2 months
• more complex tests to be done on site after updates completed – there would be a limit of 3 complex tests and these would be agreed with the client (for example, creating a new post, displaying it, and then deleting it; testing out that the shopping cart still works; or that a complex shipping method works)
• updates done once every 2 months
• backup will be taken before the updates are done and kept until the next time updates are done – it is only for the purpose of restoring the site as a whole if an update goes wrong
• There is a risk with this package that by not ensuring your site software is kept up to date every month, that your website is not as secure due to updates fixing various bugs and security issues

Please note the following which applies to all packages:
All packages must be paid via Standing Order or through PayPal Subscription before the updates are completed.
The packages do not cover the installation of any new plug-ins or themes.  It only covers updating the existing themes/plug-ins on the site.
The packages do not cover the cost of adding new pages or plug-ins.
The packages do not cover the cost of fixing any plug-in/theme issues with the site.
If after WordPress is updated, a plug-in is no longer compatible with the latest version, we will not update that plug-in and may disable it if it breaks the site.  If a client would like us to help find a replacement for it, there will be additional charges for this.

Any work done that falls outside of the support package will be invoiced at an hourly rate of £20.00/hour – the work would be undertaken only after the client has agreed to it.
